4000 BCE, the young woman Aathi and her family arrive in Southern Scandinavia as the first farmers to settle the area. When a hunter tribe brutally murders her family, Aathi is forced to build a new life among her parents’ killers. She adapts to the hunters’ customs and language while trying to convince the tribe to start farming the land. Soon, she faces a choice: to accept her new life or to seek revenge for her past. With a uniquely developed Proto-Indo-European language for the film, and Angela Bundalovic and Danica Curcic in the leading roles, Stranger is a captivating cinematic journey into the early history of humanity.
